Mercedes E63 AMG - spy photos
The new generation of Mercedes E-Klasse continue to reveal, little by little, the ugly and thick blackout which are “dressing” when the car steps out for a walk. The limo won’t shock the truthful public with major changes like BMW 5 Series did at the last rejuvenation. And by the
way, we have pictures with the car at the tests.
New E-Klasse (cod name W212) will have a similar line with the S model.
At this will add bigger rims, a discreet bodykit and break discs which
gives more sportivity. The car will have a new generation of diesel
propellers, more powerful and more ecological. 2 different elements from
the actual model will be for sure the headlights in CLS Style and the
back wheels passage.
Engine
The true change it’s under the bonnet. Next E-Klasse will have a
diesel-electric E300 Bluetec engine, with CO2 emissions 134mg/km. The hybrid
could not be sold so well because it will cost more than even E320 CDi
(but less than E500). E63 AMG with a E300 Bluetec propeller isn’t the
first “green” automobile which will appear on the market. First will
show up S400, at the Paris Stateroom in this autumn.
Another propellers for the new E-Klasse are 2,2 and 3,0 liters diesel. By the preparation, these will be installed on E200 CDI, E220 CDI, E250 CDI and E300 CDI.
The fans of gasoline may choose between the “common” 1,8 liters engine
and the “brawny” V8 with 6,2 liters which can come, optionaly, with CGI system and direct injection.
The engineers took care to put on E63 AMG hydraulic brakes, “multilink
rear axle” and “four-link front axle”, as well as ABC system, in addition Airmatic suspensions.
The interior of E-Klasse
Spied pictures with the interior prove that on this level, the limo will get a fresh blast. A gearshift moved up, the newer Mercedes technology with “voice activation” system and many other gadgets.
How long until we see the new E-Klasse
You have to be pacient, the first official appearance is settled on 2009, on Geneva Stateroom. On the market it will show up in summer 2009 with an approximative starting price of 38.000 euros.
